WIND MEASUREMENT

Wind sensors are available as: cup & vane, propeller style or ultrasonic. All these sensors can be integrated into a Delairco automatic weather station. Physical characteristics such as measurement range, starting threshold and accuracy should be considered against available budget in selecting a wind sensor for the intended application.
